How does it work?

A natural, purified protein is injected with a very fine needle into specific areas of the face to relax muscles in that area. It causes the muscles to relax, meaning that frowns and other undesired facial expressions cannot be formed, the area is gradually smoothed and new lines are prevented from forming.

What are the results?

It takes around 3 – 4 days to begin to see the results of the treatment, with the full results apparent after about a week. The effects of the treatment last for about 3 – 4 months, and in most cases, they can be repeated as required.

Does it hurt?

Most people find the treatment to be reasonably comfortable, and an anaesthetic is not usually required.

Are there any side effects?
