Medical Grade Peels

We have a number of different types and strengths of peels. Each patient receives a recommendation for the best suitable peel for them during the consultation.

Our chemical peels enhance and smooth the texture of the skin. They exfoliate the outer layers of dead skin so that a fresh layer is revealed.

How does it work?

The peel treatment lasts for about 15-20 minutes and it works by dissolving skin cells on the surface of the face. The peel will create temporary microscopic gaps between the cells to allow the ingredients to penetrate to the deeper layers of skin.

How many sessions will I need?

We will assess your skin to make a specific recommendation for you, however in general 3 to 4 peels every 4 to 6 weeks is recommended.

Does it hurt?

You may experience a little tingling, tightness or change in temperature. 

Are there any side effects?

Your skin will be sensitive for a few days so it's essential to avoid sun and wear a good sunscreen.

What are the results?

Results are subtle at first but increase with repeated treatments. Patients can look forward to improved texture and tone as well as reduction in acne scars.
